We are talking about a peda shop named Siya Jha, a resident of Karian village in Shivaji Nagar block area of ​​Samastipur district, whose peda, after eating it once, you will forget the peda from anywhere else.

Same taste remains for 70 years
Shopkeeper Arun Jha says that making Peda started here 70 years ago. His father started making Peda 70 years ago. When he died, he carried forward this work. Today, due to purity, 50 to 55 kg of pedas are easily sold every day. He also said that as soon as the month of Sawan arrives, the group of Kanwariyas going to Deoghar passes through this route. So sales increase significantly.

Shopkeeper Arun Jha told that Kanwarias from Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga and Samastipur districts stop here and buy the peda from his shop. At that time more than one quintal is sold every day. Talking about the price, peda without sugar is sold at ₹ 400 per kilogram. Whereas peda made with sugar is sold at Rs 350 per kg.
